Happy Diwali

Dear readers,

I am fully aware that I always post on Sunday’s but today is not a Sunday. Today’s 19th of October, 2017 (Thursday). I am also fully aware that I haven’t posted anything, in a while, and all I want to say is, thank you for reading and liking and following and commenting, even though I was not consistent.

Why am I writing today? I am writing this post because, today is Diwali. Diwali is the Hindu festival of lights celebrated every year around this time. It is one of the most popular festivals of Hinduism it spiritually signifies the victory of light over darkness, good over evil, knowledge over ignorance, and hope over despair (stolen from Wikipedia). I usually don’t celebrate or give importance to many festivals, but Diwali and Christmas are two festivals that I like celebrating and I look forward to. I love how we light up the house with diya’s and candles. And I personally am a huge fan of candles. It just brightens up the mood and the surrounding, which gives me joy. I am really excited. I hope this new occasion brings us more happiness and prosperity. What are my plans for the next last two months of this year? To be honest, I have no idea. And every single time I have no plan, the best things come my way. So I am hoping for the best and I’m going to take every opportunity that comes my way. Why am I writing this today, when it could have been posted three days later? Because, I wanted to wish each and every one of you a very happy Diwali and I wanted to do it today, because there is no point of wishing you all three days later. SO, HAPPY DIWALI, EVERYBODY! Hope your life is filled with light and joy and happiness and may you have the best last two months of this year.

Realistic Beginner.

  2. I haven’t heard of this holiday (thank you for sharing it with us!) I have moved about 10 times in my life so I understand how change can be scary and feel strange but I think it is a good thing to change things up. Like you said go with the flow it will be just fine!
